Mesothelioma In Dogs
It's a hard word to say, and is a very strange sounding word, but what exactly is it?
I've been interested in the subject of asbestos cancer since the death of my father from this shocking disease, and being so involved with dogs as well, I recently got to thinking about whether there are any recorded cases of mesothelioma in dogs. Cancer in dogs is certainly not uncommon, but do they get mesotheliomas?
Well, my research shows that mesothelioma does occur in dogs, and most often when the dogs owners have a lifestyle or occupation where they exposed to asbestos. Dogs exposed to pesticide powders may also develop mesotheliomas.
